Since Hawkeye stole my workout on Monday planned for today, I had to pull a quick audible which resulted in a HIIT workout focused on core and legs. To keep the joyful mood of Thanksgiving week, we pumped some "Mega Hits" which we now refer to as "Megan's Hits" due to the tweeny tunes of the like of T-Swift, Daya, Jonas Brothers, and Bebe Rhexa. And yes I had to lookup each of these to know who the artist was (except T-Swift, she's cool).
No politics here
9 men braved the 43 degree weather and limited their nightly election coverage to join the QIC on a Wednesday morning. Rule was any political talk would result in 3 burpees, and have to admit not sure I heard any mumblechatter throughout the workout this morning.
Merkin Mile makes a return
14 men took the QIC advice and got to bed early to join in on the return of the Merkin Mile. We even named an FNG who normally doesn't come outside prior to 6am but was excited to earn the name.
Northside Back to School Bash
Welcome back to school! PAX showed up on time (except Pebbles) and were ready for first day orientation at 0525. Out of respect for the incoming students we used the visitor spots up front of school and planted the flag (thanks IH).

Still lower numbers than normal on the Northside, but good news is we did receive 'approval' to continue using the school even with the locked gates. Fortunately we had a key! 100% humidity this morning which made the sweat pour!

6 men joined me for my post-birthday Q (April 5th was a Sunday) and kept appropriate social distancing throughout for a '37 inspired' workout.

After MG's Inaugural Ranger Q over the weekend, QIC had a renewed spark for the gloom and was joined by the Party of 5, though we stayed 6 feet apart to respect the CDC guidance.

Bambi applied an #emotionalheadlock on Sunday at the Lord's house causing a stir in the heart to take the Q and force myself back into the gloom. 11 men joined to start the week on the right path with an old school Q focused on core, cardio and F3 count merkins! And to our surprise, someone strategically left a Natty with a straw by the flag . . . .last man drinks up!
