Head to the mini track for our first round of Elevens
Elevens are a staple routine in F3, easy to get everything you’d expect in within a range of areas available. Start with 1 rep of a called exercise A (add some flavor of travel) then 10 reps of a different called exercise B. Return.
You repeat as follows.
2 Reps of Exercise A / Travel / 9 Reps of Exercise B / Return Travel to Start
3 Reps of Exercise A / Travel / 8 Reps of Exercise B / Return Travel to Start
and so on… The total reps between the two stations should always equal, you guessed it, Eleven.
Bonus: Ask pax to recall the number rep. Remembering the count and communicating to the rest of the pax is a mental exercise done under exhaustion.
We did the following exercises / locations
- Minitrack
Burpees / Run / Merkins / Run - Bus Ramp
Rows / Bear Crawl / Gassers / Bear Crawl - Basketball Court
LBC / Broad Jump / Flutter / Mosey
We ran out of time before finishing the 3rd set of elevens.

I shared this morning about the Leadership Development Process (LDP) covered in Q Source. And particularly how Effective Leaders Develop Effective Leaders.
This brings to mind The Great Commission:
18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18 – 20
We who are christians believe the first disciples of Jesus were challenged to go forth and make disciples. And now we see through F3 part of what makes an Effective leader is this same mentality.
“Knowing their leadership tenure is limited by human mortality, they get prepared for the expected event of their departure by developing new Leaders. Because they cannot predict the precise time of their departure, they stay ready for the unexpected by ensuring that the Leaders they develop are ready right now instead of sometime tomorrow. Great Leaders are constantly working themselves out of a job.”
