LORD’S PRAYER

WARMUP:

A little stretching of the legs and shoulders in preparation for the main work.

THE THANG:

Mosey .25 mile down to the lower parking lot

-10 merkins

-20 squats

-30 air presses

Mosey .2 miles down boardwalk to concrete ramp

-10 merkins

-20 squats

-30 air presses

Mosey .15 miles to train tracks at end of boardwalk

-10 merkins

-20 squats

-30 air presses

Turn around and head back.

Shortly before reaching the train tracks, PAX had noticed a neat stack of cinder blocks sitting on the boardwalk.  On our return trip the larger HIM’s grabbed 2 cindys each and the smaller pax each grabbed one and we started the trudge back to the lower parking lot.

We stopped in all the same spots to do 10-20-30 work again, and upon reaching the lower parking lot, the PAX found two 5 gallon buckets, each containing 60 pounds of sand.  2 larger PAX lugged these about a quarter mile up the ramp to the main park entrance, and then ran back down, while smaller PAX repeated the 10-20-30 exercises we had done at each stop, until we returned.  Once large PAX returned, small PAX each took a cindy up the hill and then ran back down while large pax repeated the 10-20-30 exercises.  Once all PAX were once again at the bottom of the hill, there were 4 cindy’s remaining so we all grabbed one and made our way back up the ramp to the weight drop off point, and then moseyed back over to the flag.

COT:

Q mentioned a bit about the holiday we celebrated this weekend and reminded everyone that the freedoms provided by this country extend all the way to our F3 workouts and our discussions of matters of faith.  There are countries around the world where such things are not allowed.  PAX agreed that we should be thankful for our freedoms and remember that “we the people” hold the power, if we’ll only claim it.
