8 men showed up in the gloom to work on some travel with merkins (or was it merkins with travel?). We covered 1.9 miles and a bunch of merkins.

QIC talked about since we haven’t been able to pray shoulder to shoulder due to COVID over the last year, some have started kneeling for the closing prayer. Kneeling is a great tradition and historically has been to show supplication or adoration to a king or to God. In the historical Christian tradition, kneeling on your right knee is reserved for God. Kneeling on your left knee is for all others, such as proposing to your fiancé or listening to words of wisdom from your Little League coach.
Philippians 2:10-11
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Ephesians 3: 14-17

Nobyl got up early and put on a brisket this morning.
Kotter was glad there weren’t 15 men this morning (since we did # of merkins X the # of men). He renamed the Wheel of Merkins to Preschool Merkins (since we were in the preschool parking lot). He has make a resolution to be intentional with his family once a month.
Rocks was energized after workout. He’s headed to North Carolina to visit family.
Mickey is headed to Orlando for his daughter’s volleyball.
LD loved the history and the merkins creativity. He talked about the Dredd torch pass when they were kneeling. He reminded us about the new AO at Bannerman tomorrow.
Geronimo has the Southwood Q on Tuesday.
