- Warmorama at the flag
- mosey to the track
- Round 1:
- 10 Merkins → Bear Crawl 10 Yards → 10 Groiners → Gorilla Crawl 10 Yards
- Repeat until you reach the 50 yard line then run to the opposite endzone and back to the 50 x 3
- 10 Merkins → Bear Crawl 10 Yards → 10 Groiners → Gorilla Crawl 10 Yards
- Until we reached the opposite end of the field we started
- Round 2:
- 10 Squats → Lunge 5 Yards
- Repeat until you reach the 50 yard line then run to the opposite endzone and back to the 50 x 3
- 10 Squats → Lunge 5 Yards

The Darvaza Crater sometimes called “The door to hell” located in Turkmenistan is a natural gas field that collapsed into a crater that has been burning since the 80s. It is 230ft in diameter (in comparison a football field is ~360ft) 98 ft deep and burns at over 1800 degrees Fahrenheit — you look at pictures of this thing and you can’t help but be amazed and impressed by it.
So, I see this thing and the first thought that pops in my head, I wonder what would it take to put this thing out? And oddly enough in 2022 one of the local leaders organized an effort to finally get rid of it due to health concerns from the gases. But After months of work they resolved to failure.
The truth is each and every one of us are born with a deep & unquenchable pit in our hearts. We take our jobs, marriage, money, friends (or maybe even F3 :grimacing:) and we use these things in an effort to extinguish it. A lot of us have felt it — it’s an unidentifiable ache, a deep down dissatisfaction you just can’t seem to escape. You know it.
In F3 we understand devoid purpose in a man’s life sad clown syndrome will reign supreme. And I believe this is true — at least in part. My only real path to durable joy was faith in something outside of myself. I know most of us here share in the Christian faith — and in that faith we believe the solution for heaviness that sits on your chest comes from the active pursuit of a relationship with Jesus. Because It is in the midst of that pursuit, transformation of the heart occurs. It gets rebuilt. Re-engineered. By the same God who designed the universe.
So if you’re coming to F3 because you have felt this way. Just know — you are not alone. Each one of us is showing up here with the goal of beating that fire down — day after day after day.
