Q: Crab Legs
Since no one was fighting over this Q, I took it and we did a variation of the Indy 500.
Grabbed our rucks and moved to the track. The workout was simple. Teams of 2 (one team of 3) where one partner does work and the other does a shuffle around the track. Cumulative count with partners alternating who is working with who does the lap. Started w/500 ruck squats while one partner rucked. Second iteration was 500 slick squats while the other partner farmer carried both rucks. Third iteration was 500 ruck monkey humpers while the other partner rucked. Fourth iteration was 500 slick monkey humpers with the other partner farmer carrying. We only made it about 250 reps into the 4th iteration before time was called.
It was during this 4th iteration as well that Hipster’s old twerking injury came back to haunt him. He locked up during the Monkey Humpers and was found gyrating rhythmically on the ground. The only cure for his condition was to stuff $1 bills into his waistband. We were trying to figure out how to get a car back to the track to pick him up when he managed to limp back to the flag. This kind of twerking injury is all to common these days. LIke Iron Horse reminds us, proper form is critical. Remember, it is drop, pop, and lock. Keep the back arched. COT: As a team we learned that Monkey Humpers were not ideal for Hipster’s condition and, in all seriousness, he was in some pretty crippling pain. Props for him even trying to muscle through what was essentially an entire workout focused on hip motion. Q shared some recent struggles over the past 2 weeks of feeling pretty down. I am glad to have a good group of brothers around me to keep me going. Angus is becoming a land baron in January. Swanson’s Baby Mama is leaving him again. Tommy Boy wore his backpack for the first time in a week. Crayola’s truck is still broken… or maybe it is fixed again for a couple days. Little Debbie played with guns.
