Warm Up: Quick Lap in the parking lot, 20 Side Straddle Hops, and 2 minutes of self stretch while the Q explained the rules of the workout.

The Thang: Today’s workout was titled “Make It Right”. Pax embarked on a field trip around the Chiles campus to three specified destinations (Wolf Statue, practice fields, and the track). The rules were simple: stay together, stay on the sidewalks and roads while traveling to each destination, right turns only, and each right turn required a predetermined exercise to continue.  In the spirit of “Make it Right”, no left hand turns were allowed, but could be overcome by making three right hand turns (hence three exercises). QIC had each pax pick a number between 1 and 16 that corresponded to an exercise and the rep count was determined by their age. After the completion of the exercise(s) mosie to the next turn, rinse and repeat until reaching a destination. The pax reward for reaching a destination was more work. Wolf Statue = decline merkins, practice fields = tire flips and bear crawls or crab walk, Track = Don Quixotes and star gazers. Then a quick mosie back to the flag for a brief message from the Q.

COT: Matthew 5:23-24 “Therefore, if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.”

The Q began by quoting Matthew 5:23-24 and tied the workout of “Making it Right” to Jesus’ words, extending a challenge to all pax to seek out a brother they have wronged and to try and make it right. Several prayer requests were offered up including prayers for surgery, prayers for a healthy recovery from a few injuries, prayer for two young boys/men in their struggles with cancer, and prayers for the loss of life of a 19 man this weekend in College Town.
