15 men took on the Monkey’s Uncle this morning.
We started with 25 F3 count SSHs and some stretching and then I forgot to do the Lord’s Prayer.
Then we moseyed over to Premier and back (about 2 miles total) stopping every .25 miles (thanks to the mileage czar, Angus) to do:
· .25 – Monkey Merkins x10 – on your knuckles and scratch an armpit on the up (up, scratch left, down, up scratch right down is 1 rep)
· .5 – Monkey Crunches F3 count each man (15) – like LBCs but crunch up to Monkey Humper position on your back
· .75 – Monkey Shuffles x10 – squat down hands on ground in front of you, move hands to outside of left leg and hop legs over outside hands, back to middle and repeat to right side = 1 rep
· 1.0 – Monkey Humpers F3 count each man (15) – these were at the front door of Premier and we had a special guest, Private Ryan, walk out mid-hump!
· 1.25 – HONDO MID-WORKOUT STRETCH!
· 1.5 – Monkey Crunches F3 count each man
· 1.75 – ran up the steps, around, and down the steps of Jos. A. Bank shopping center – more Monkey Humpers!
· 2.00 – Monkey Love – tunnel of love but with a Gorilla Crawl (or Kangaroo or whatever you wanna call it) instead of Bear Crawl
· Back to the flag and circled up doing Dealer’s Choice of 10-rep ab exercises each man getting a turn
· Wide leg Squats x10 holding the last one for 30 seconds
We finished up with a make-up Lord’s Prayer, CoT we talked about building our physical armor through F3 but not forgetting about our spiritual armor as well (Ephesians 6:10-12) and growing and maturing in your faith by inviting and encouraging others to join you.
