COT
QIC thanked the Pax for coming out and shared a few C.S. Lewis quotes on pain:

“when pain is to be born, a little courage helps more than much knowledge, a little human sympathy more than much courage, and the least tincture of the love of God more than all.”

“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”

“I suggest to you that it is because God loves us that he gives us the gift of suffering….You see, we are like blocks of stone out of which the Sculptor carves the forms of men. The blows of his chisel, which hurt us so much are what make us perfect.”

Mr. Kotter shared how life is like the 2 rails of a railroad.

Singlet reminded us to keep Nobyl in our TAPS as he had successful Achilles surgery and is trying to use whiskey instead of meds for the pain.

Mr. Belding asked for prayers for the First Baptist Choir as they return from their New Orleans mission trip.

Tron had the idea that maybe we should build a house with all these Cindys and he really appreciates being back at F3.

Mr. Emcee wished everyone a Happy Fathers Day and has been going to other Qs and appreciates Southwood AO welcoming him back.

Mr. Emcee and Polo (VQ) have the Southwood Q on Tuesday.

Mr. Kotter has the Southwood Q on Friday.
