The Thang: As the tributes arrived one by one. I couldn’t help but notice each one had a terrified look on their face as they waited. Once all had arrived they were transported to the training center (warmup mosey with stretches to an open field). Once at the training center the tributes were in awe of the glorious bows that lay before them. They couldn’t help but feel nervous after catching sight of the arrows that appeared to be fresh from battle dripping with blood and sweat (slight embellishment). Their first task was to master the bow. Tributes took turns firing flaming arrows at the target(not flaming). Those that failed were punished(all failed, all punished). After their failed attempt they each picked up weights ranging from 10-45 lbs and overhead carried 100 yards out and back. Each were given a shot at redemption and again they all failed. This time their punishment was curling their weights 100 yards then triceps extensions on the way back. After several rounds they began to be one with the bow and it was time for phase two. The next step in the training was to test their agility and reflexes. Tributes took turns standing down range dodging or catching the arrows as they were being fired at them. Most were successful, there was one notable exception. He who is known as dry hop took a direct shot. The barrage of arrows seemed to go on forever(it really didn’t). After each round the exercises were more excruciating than the last. At sunset (not sunset it was 7:55am), the tributes were transported back to quarters (shake and baked back to the flag) where tributes shall wait until the next training.

Exercises between rounds: 100 yard overhead carry, 100 yard curl out and tri extension back, 50 yard inch worm/bear craw, burpees, merkins, squats, 100 yard lunges out and back, LCRC, flutters, box cutters, kettle bell swings, and ended with 5 very slow and hold merkins.
