“Wrong Asian”

10 men met up at Gilchrist at 0525. Pebbles was 47 seconds late. I started Lord’s Prayer at 05:25:00.
11 men apparently decided to wake up earlier to see a different Asian. Who is this Iwo Jima guy?
I demonstrated a Wiseguy pushup (trademark pending). IT IS NOT A MERKIN!
1) Start in plank with straight torso and pelvis and shoulders over hands.
2) Chest comes all the way to the ground (“down”)
3) Hands release from the ground (“release”)
4) Come all the way up, core tight (“up”)
5) Left hand taps right shoulder, keep torso, core, and pelvis stable (“right”)
6) Right hand taps left shoulder (“left”)
The basic premise is to break down the entire pushup, encourage full range of motion, and think about form.
We traveled through a small loop making various stops to do Wiseguy pushups. I started with 5 reps after meditating on Proverbs 3 in plank. I gradually increased every round by 1 until some smart asses decided to anticipate me and I skipped a few numbers.
We stopped at the mistresses’ shop and ran the stairways through the second floor loop a couple of times.
We went back to campus and did a couple of loops around the bus ramp with Wiseguy pushups around the bears in a drier area. We essentially squeegeed all the other parking lots where we did pushups. Recount joined us for the last set.

I described my deficiency in my pushups that caused me to fail the PT test at Exercise Dawn (Green Beret Fitness). I emphasized the purposes of good form and to not let peer pressure take you away from it.
Poker Night is tomorrow night starting at 6 pm. If anyone wants to come watch, play a side game with the losers, or play a board game, let me know.

As of right now, we have 9 signed up for the F3 HTL in Greenville, SC. I did not think the annoying emails and FB posts would work, but here we are. Two spots left as of 1100 hours today.
