The ammo cans made a return.

But first, a bone to pick with my team.

Guns n’ Roses, Sweasy, and Shooter McGavin had to do 22 slow and controlled pushups on my cadence while everyone else filled the ammo cans with dirt from the pile. Unfortunately, the title sponsor team at the Birdies for Vets Tournament did not take home a trophy so this was a punishment. But also, I wanted to remind them what the purpose of the tournament was.

Approximately 22 veterans commit suicide per day.

Many veterans walk among you (even at F3). Take the time and have a conversation with a veteran.

Once the ammo cans were filled, we headed to the newly redone soccer field near the parking lot.

We progress through the four corners in the following order with rep counts of 10-12-14-22

1. Squat thrusters (ammo cans overhead to next corner)
2. American hammers (suitcase carry ammo cans to next corner)
3. Burpees (leave ammo cans; run to next corner)
4. Squat jumps (run to next corner)
5. Mule kicks (run to next corner)
6. PAX choice (run to next corner)
   Shooter McGavin – lunges
   Sweasy – mountain climbers
   Guns n’ Roses (blue falcon) – “eeprub” which is basically a get-up with a jump at the end.
   Wiseguy – shuttle runs across the soccer field to finish

Safe travels for all those enjoying Thanksgiving weekend out of town. (Good luck if you are either going to or have relatives coming from MI, PA, NY, CA, NJ, and more.)

If you know you will be in town next week, try to take Qs sooner rather than later. I will fill in where I can, but I am also on call from Thursday to Sunday on Thanksgiving weekend.

Apparently there are two different workouts happening simultaneously at Cascades tomorrow. #oyvey
