“Pounding Sand on Meadows Beach”

I planned for suck in the humidity and rugged fields. Inexplicably, there is a ton of sand on the main soccer field. Request was made to go to the turf field. Blue Falcon Q overruled it in the name of embracing the suck.
Warmup:
Jog
Back pedal
Shuffle
Carioca
High knees
Butt kicks
Hip circles
Frankenstein
Pick up your weight (i.e. sandbag or rock).
Part I: (I messed up the first part. You will see the actual pattern after the first two traverses of the field.)
– 1 squat (with front or back rack depending on weight)
– Throw your weight forward as far as you can. Keep going until your weight reaches the other side.
– 3 bent over rows
– Throws to the other side
– 5 squats
– Run with weight to the other side of the field
– 7 bent over rows
– Throws to the other side
Rinse
– 7 squats
– Run
– 5 bent-over rows
– Throws
– 3 squats
– Run
– 1 bent-over row
– Throws
Part II:
– 1 lunge (R + L = 1) with weight on either a front or back rack
– Run
– 3 cleans
– Throws
– 5 lunges
– Run
– 7 cleans
– Throws
Rinse
– 7 lunges
– Run
– 5 cleans
– Throws
– 3 lunges
– Run
– 1 clean
– Run
(To balance out the mistake I made earlier)
COT:
Use your common sense when it comes living through life with the pandemic. The fights about masks that you see on social media are not worth it. Not to mention, with the yelling and the potential physical violence that ensues, you are essentially negating any effect the mask has and spreading it worse than originally intended.
Wham-O has the Q tomorrow and will bring back ultimate frisbee.
