The Thang: PAX moseyed to basketball court for Phase I: suicide drills (4 stops). After each set 10 Merkins. Repeat x 10 rounds. Rinse.
PAX then moseyed to track for Phase II. History lesson provided on the WWII Bataan Death March. PAX instructed to line up single file. 1st person in line, carries 6 Gal Jerry Can (50 lbs). At the go, PAX proceed to run around track. Last PAX in line then drops and does 5 merkins. Upon completion, catches up to last PAX in line, and taps shoulder. That PAX then drops for 5 merkins, while PAX who just completed merkins, sprints to head of line to carry Jerry Can. Repeat until all PAX carry jerry can 2x. RINSE.
Phase III begins w a box outlined in the dirt (now muddy) in center of track approx 5 yards apart from each other. PAX instructed on proper duck squats and given instruction on how to participate in duck jousting. Duck squat, hands across chest, and no standing allowed. PAX then attempt to knock each other down. If PAX is knocked down or violates no standing rule, he then must leave the box, perform 10 merkins, and can then re-enter. After approx 5 minutes, most PAX (especially YHC) were pretty gassed. After missing a few months w a nagging plantar fasciitis injury, Magneto was declared the winner.
PHASE IV begins w a mosey back to Old Glory. PAX circle up, and each PAX calls a separate exercise of 10-20 reps to close out. RINSE. Done.
COT: PAX in good moods, and appreciated the Q and added although it is sometimes necessary to do a Q “on the fly,” a well thought out Q w some different variations of new things are always welcomed to keep posts “fresh.” PAX were reminded that throughout life, our eyes get muddied, and it is important to wipe your eyes, get the blurriness out, and see things clearly. Special thoughts and prayers go out to our brother Big Gulp and his family as his Father passed away recently.
Prayer: Rico Suave
