The Thang:

The original plan was to complete a merkin/squat ladder with 1/4 mile lap in between, however since this was very similar to this week’s IronPax challenge, the QIC had to make a last minute pivot. Adapt and overcome!

Evolution #1 – Press Squat Mile with a 13 minute time hack as a group (start/finish together)

25 Overhead Press with Block + 1/4 mile

25 Squat w/ Block + 1/4 mile S&B

Round 1 – 2 PAX will flip tire 1 time then do 3 burpees and get back into line while rotating team members for 120 yards. Team 2 won first round.

COT:

Almost daily I have to pivot to overcome obstacles that can impact my life. This could be in my workplace, marriage, traffic, family, diet, F3, you name it! However, I have found that my attitude is the difference between an obstacle or adventure. Having a positive attitude can not only change your day, but those around you. Having a negative attitude can have the same effect, but for the worse and potentially long-term ramifications. The point being is if we each approached the obstacles as an adventure, using a positive attitude, our world would be a much better place. As we go into this week, think and pray deeply about how you can overcome obstacles in your life.

I encourage you to read these passages that share a similar message:

James 1: 2-4 | Romans 16:17 | Philippians 4:13 | Romans 14:13 | Psalm 118:13

Great push by all men today, especially Donkey continuing to grind it out each week. Keep coming brother as it never gets easier, but you WILL get better! Prayers for TikTok cousin who unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 39, Big Gulp’s mom starting chemo this week, Slowhand quick recovery on pulled calf, Mensa niece in Louisiana trying to stay safe and recover from storm, along with all the families impacted by Hurricane Ida and challenges in the Afghanistan.

Until next time,

-Dimples
