THE PIT……….Your pit could be poor health, the loss of your job, addiction, depression, an unfaithful mate, rebellious children, or any other overwhelming problem. You may be responsible for being in your pit, or you may be a victim of the sins of others (like a mean Q ;). Regardless, you have to shake the dirt off your back and step on up and get out of the pit (see the donkey and farmer parable). Second, you do not give praise to GOD when you are on top but when you are at the bottom of your game b/c it is when you are on your knees (or have been brought down to them) is when prayer leads to perseverance, character and hope. So when you want a “pit”ty party, go hang out with a kindergarten class. Use your failures and falls as opportunity to come out of the ground a better being of who you were before……and remember the reason we plant the flag and not bury it is planting signifies growth occurring (as our posts and COP amplifies) so when you want to give up and be buried, shut up, plant a flag, Q some great men looking for a leader that day to make them better than they were when slid out of the fart sack.
